The Superior Group Successfully Completes SAS 70 Certification

Williamsville, NY – February 23, 2010 – The Superior Group—a leading provider of strategic workforce solutions to companies worldwide—announced today that the company has successfully completed a Statement of Auditing Standard No. 70 (SAS 70) Type II Audit.

Established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, SAS 70 is a widely recognized auditing standard for service organizations to demonstrate they have adequate controls and processes in place. A SAS 70 examination demonstrates that an independent accounting and auditing firm has reviewed and examined an organization's control objectives and activities. At the conclusion of the examination, a formal report including the auditor's opinion is issued to the examined organization.  This audit allows Superior the ability to support companies facing Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
